One of the things that I remember from Economics 101 my Sophomore year at MooU, is that strong movement up or down, with high volume trading usually signals a longer-term trend in that direction. This Chart seems to be signaling a long-term downward trend. 1,000 points down in one month with 4.5-to-6 Billion trade volume range is telling me "OHOH!" Post 9/11 and the ENRON collapse only saw downward-moving volume in the 1-2 Billion range. This level is pretty new and unprecedented. Stil
